Several times throughout the year, the Washington International Trade Association (WITA) offers an intensive trade seminar for U.S. government officials, embassy representatives, students, and any professional who wishes to hear the latest thinking and news about current and foundational trade policies.
I was pleased to participate in the fall 2016 seminar on a panel with my friend and colleague, Katrin Khulmann, discuss the history, trends, and what we need to do more of to advance economic development through trade policy. (No, we did not coordinate our green suits!)
All event videos are available online at WITA, but here’s a link to my talk and the robust Q&A that followed.
