Working with the U.S. Grains Council and National Corn Growers Association over the last couple of years to discuss U.S. trade policy with their members has been a privilege and thoroughly delightful.
We went to St. Louis, Cincinnati and the Eastern Shore, Maryland in 2019. So far in 2020, I participated in Trade Schools in Indianapolis in January and Olathe, Kansas in February.
By my count, I’ve presented and had conversations with some 550 talented and smart grains farmers. Hope to continue engaging farmers throughout the year as trade policy remains front and center.
