Andrea Durkin of Sparkplug, LLC participates on a panel discussing the release of a report by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on Opportunities in Strengthening Trade Assistance.
The report was produced by the CSIS Bipartisan Task Force on Trade Capacity Building cochaired by Representative Charles W. Boustany, Jr., M.D. and Representative Jared S. Polis which met in 2014 to determine how the U.S. government can best implement TCB programs that build physical, human, and institutional capacities across the developing world and allow countries to benefit from trade and investment opportunities.
Andrea contributed as a task force member and briefed members of Congress on her experiences pioneering trade capacity building initiatives and commitments in the U.S.-Central America-Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement.
