I greatly admire the leaders of the most prominent think tank in El Salvador, FUSADES. Through my work with the George W. Bush Presidential Center, we have developed a set of recommendations for how to advance the regulatory and legal infrastructure to support growth of the digital economy in the Northern Triangle region. It’s vital for education, for health, and to unlock the ability of individuals to achieve their economic potential. FUSADES is leading the charge in El Salvador.
During this event, they offered me the opportunity – despite lack of Spanish capability – to describe the Bush Center recommendations to their audience of policymakers and private sector leaders.
